Coimbatore: Mass transfer of police personnel in the district after the powerful DMK has raised eyebrows.
More than 80% of police officers, including 30 of 40 inspectors, eight assistant commissioners (ACC), six police deputy supervisors (Deputies) (DSP) (DSP), deputy commissioner and even the city police commissioners were formed after the new government was formed.
Wind Change has begun to blow through the district during the election season.
Former Collector Coimbatore K commissioner of Police Rajamani and Sumit City Sharan was transferred after the DMK leaders submitted a petition to the Indian Election Commission (ECI).
Nagarajan and Davidson Devasirvatham combined them each.
Then, Arulera Ara Police Supervisors and supervisors from the police G S Anitha were transferred.
Selvanagarathinam was appointed as police supervisor.
Inspector General of Police (West Zone) K Periaiiah was moved and Dhinakan was posted by the Western Zone of IG.
Dhinakanan is then replaced by Amalraj.
After the powerful DMK, Nagarajan and Davidson Devasirvatham were moved and posted in Chennai.
G S Sameeran was appointed as Coimbatore collector and Deepak M Damor was appointed as a city police commissioner.
R Sudhakar was appointed by the Western Zone of IG.
“Eight Assistant Commissioner of the City Police, who worked during the AIDMK regime was transferred.
Most of them were posted in the South Zone.
A total of 13 legal supervisors & police bookings were discussed from the city.
But the DMK government left the Female Police Inspector alone.
Two police supervisors in the intelligence section transferred to the southern zone, “said an assistant Commissioner to Toi.
“Most of them have no affiliates to any political party.
They are victims of DMK-AIDMK competition.” Most of the six DSPs were transferred from Coimbatore posted in the South and Central Zone.
