Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh police arranged to make a record of the biggest recruitment drive sub-inspector in a year, report the pathikrit chakraborty.
Recently, the police recruitment board and promotion (UPPR & PB) have created 9,534 vacancies, which 9,027 is for the position of sub-inspector in civilian police, 484 in PAC, and 23 in the Department of Firefighters.
Director General (UPPR & PB) RK Vishwakarma said, “Until now, a maximum of 1,000-1,500 sub-inspector vacancies were created in a year but this time we came with 9,534 vacancies that we had received 12 lakh applications from men and also a candidate for women.” ‘ The choices to be completed by the year – we plan to complete the entire selection process in December, “added Vishwakarma.” We plan to hold a written examination between October-end and mid-November and stated the results at the end of November.
Furthermore, the second phase of physical tests will be carried out in early December because the weather is good.
The whole process will be completed at the end of December, “said Vishwakarma.
Another record was made in 2020 when the highest number of 31,243 promotions was announced in various police wings and PAC.
A senior officer at UPPR & PB said that Yogi Adyityanath took over as the main minister in 2017, The police have recruited 1.44 lakh police in all of its wings in a different rating.
