Police Shoot Fall Robbers near Chennai, Nab Accling

Chennai: In a meeting near Sriperumbudur on Monday, the city police shot dead a toting man from Jharkhand who allegedly took a woman’s gold chain on Sunday and killed Tasmac employees last week.
Police said Murthaza Sheikh, 30, used a machete to attack and injure a police officer when the police surrounded it near the village to the 1pm.
An inspector then shot him dead.
Murthaza and Naim Akhthar, 29, also from Jharkhand, have taken the gold chain of six-sovereign gold indrani, 58, at the Penterur bus stop near Tollgate on Sunday morning.

Murthaza’s body was sent to the Chengalpet government hospital for post-mortem and the judge’s investigation had been ordered.

They claimed to have been involved in three cases of grabbing in Kancheepuram Regency in the past week.
The pistol they use seems to be a country made with a good engine solution, police said.
