Ludhiana: Besides helping a survivor to get justice, the police Zone-IV Ludhiana Komisaria will – in the first initiative of its type – offering counseling, education and job opportunities for free too.
The Deputy Commissioner of the Additional Police Commissioner-IV Rupinder Kaur SRA has come with this initiative to help survive rape overcoming trauma and named it ‘Sawera-Ek Nayee Datur, Ek Nayee Shuruat’.
He has been roaming in the Industrial Industry Confederation (CII), Ludhiana, for this project.
SRA Heads Zone-IV Police Ludhiana, where there are more migrant populations and higher instances than rape of minors.
Already said, “Every time I meet rape, whether it’s an adult or small, I feel the pain.
I definitely help them get justice, but feel that we need to do more than this.
Victim of rape, especially little girls, need compassion And support for dealing with trauma.
Sometimes, it can be seen that they do not get reception in the family and society.

From this project , where survivors will be given free education and counseling by professionals to support them mentally, emotionally and medically.
Free education will be given to saved children and CII are committed to giving them jobs too.

Police Commissioner Rakesh Aggarwal inaugurated the project on Friday.
The team consists of Amit Junkeja, former Chairman of Ludhiana CII, Ashpreet Singh Sahni, Chair of CII-Ludhiana, Ashwin Nagpal, Deputy Chairperson of CII- Ludhiana, Dr.
Mehak Bansal, Consultants and Pediatricians, Gynecology doctors and obstetricians and DRC Rashi, psychologists.
