Patna: Head of Bihar Minister Nith Kumar on Friday attracted a senior department of house officials for uncontrolled delays in the construction of the building proposed for hundreds of police stations in the state.
Overcoming the construction of the Bihar Corporation’s Corporation (BPBCC) police after launching police construction projects worth the RS 377.84 Crore, CM said that in accordance with the details given to him, 15 police station / outposts so far did not get land for the construction of buildings, While the building ‘was built’ for 234 other police stations / posts.
“Likewise, 143 other police stations / posts have been given land, but their projects are in the phase of ‘estimated preparation’.
For 90 other police stations / police stations, the department has so far only identified the land.
Building Project 56 Stations / Other Police Stations are within ‘Tender process’ until now, “CM said.
“Why is the construction work from this police station unfinished? Why is that delay?” Nitish asked senior officials while expressing His displeasure.
“In almost every meeting with DMS and SPS, I continue to remind them of building construction for the remaining police station.
Why is the land not available for the building proposed for the police station? This is the work of the department of the house.
I hurt such delays.

But why delay the beginning of construction work?” Cm asked.
CM then asked the Development Commissioner Amir Subhani, who previously grabbed the House Department, to sit with the Department of House officials and accelerate the delayed construction work.
He also asked the Secretary of the Chief of Tripurari Sharan to hold a meeting with the DMS concerned and SPS tomorrow, and resolve the issue of land labor for 15 police stations within a week.
Given the recruitment of “the highest number of women in Bihar Police”, Nitish further asked senior officials to ensure the spread and post of female and police officers in all police stations and all police worked across the state.
“I hereby asked all the senior police officers to make a separate bathroom setting, Lavatory and a sufficient sitting room for a police lady in every police station,” CM said.
He also asked police officers to take effective action against drug smugglers, ensuring regular patrols and fast trials of criminal cases.
“Take decisive action against people involved in the trade in the forbidden liquid.
British traders should not be spared at any cost,” Nitish said.
