Nagpur: Even when forest officials failed to order two people who pelted stones on a pair of leopards in the range of Nakadongri forests under the Bhandara division, sub-division officers (SDO), Tumsar, had ordered an investigation of the incident.

Videos show two people who disturb animals by throwing stones into it.
The police also posted videos on social media that became viral.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning when three police officers from the Gobarwahi police station and two of their friends returned from Dongri (Tujruk).
Handara SP Vasant Jadhav, who was a nature lover and the head of the district tiger cell, told toi that both police friends pelted the stones.
“Very embarrassing that the incident happened in front of the police.
The animals are not dogs to be decorated,” he said.
Jadhav further said that what was more surprising that the police did not stop their friends from the pelite stone in the leopard.
“I will take action against these police officers,” SP said.
According to members of the Kishor State Wildlife Council, the actions of two people implying hunting acts and inviting actions in the 9th round of the Satwa 9 Law (Protection), 1972.
He demanded that they were immediately arrested.
The most officials arrested the two men.
Confirming the incident, Deputy Bhandara Forest Conservator (DYCF) SB Bhalavi said, “We will register the initial violation report (POR) on Thursday.
ACF Saket Shende will conduct an investigation.” On Tuesday, RFO Nitesh Dhanvijay tried to reach the two people but failed zero on them.
They tend to be booked on Thursday after forest officials visit Gobarwahi.
