City: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Special Unit, City on Monday arrested Rajasthan Contable police for allegedly taking bribes of RS 5,000 three years ago when he posted at the police station Baran Mancole.

Responsible, ACB, Special Unit, City, DSP Dharamveer Singh said that a 60-year-old man from the village would be under the Mangole Police Station from the Baran District on April 30, 2018, filed a complaint against Constable Rameshwar Prasad, then posted at the Mangole Police Station, And expressed his son put forward at the Mantra Police Station in the case below the part 354 IPC against him.
He further accused the police who had demanded Rs 10,000 because they did not forget and struggle his son at the police station, he added.
ACB verifies complaints on the same day when the defendant received Rs 5,000 and asked the remaining number of Rs 2,000 the next day, he said.
The trap was carried out the following day, on May 1, 2018 but the defendant felt the presence of ACB personnel around, refused to accept the amount of bribes left by Rs 2,000.
However, ACB submitted a case under Section 7, 13 (1) (d), 13 (2) 1988 PC Law against Rameshwar Prasad and initiated investigations, he said further.
The charges against the police were confirmed in an investigation after ACB sent a case for the prosecutor’s approval.
After the approval for the prosstable claim, ACB’s special unit, the city on Monday arrested Contical accused and produced it before ACB Court later, who ordered him to send him to prison with November 22, DSP said.
