Poll Bihar MLC for 24 chairs possibilities in February

Patna: With the election of Panchayat ending in Bihar, all eyes are now set at 24 seats the empty state legislative council of the constituency of local authorities for which elections will likely be held in February-March.
The source said the country’s election office recently sent a recommendation to the Election Commission to hold a poll for 24 chairs of the council, which was empty since July 16, 2021 as MLC was previously selected to complete their six-year term.
The election cannot be held on time because of the non-settlement of electoral colleges due to the delay in the election of Panchayat.
Ideally, the election for this 24 seats should be held before July last year.
Chosen Panchayats members, urban local bodies and Cantonese council voted to choose MLC from the constituency of local authorities.
The source said when members of the election college were resolved after the publication of the results of the Panchayat poll, prospective candidates for the selection of local authorities had begun to campaign in their respective regions.
Most of them in the six-year futures on July 16, 2021, are trying our best to get nominations from one of the leading political parties, namely BJP, RJD and JD (U), to re-enter the house of the legislature.
Likewise, those who lost the 2015 poll trying to get their respective symbols to oppose the Board poll.
“When the State Election Office has sent its recommendations, EC can notify the third or fourth week’s election in January and, most likely, the election will be held in February or March,” said an election official on Saturday.
According to the rules, Panchayat representatives were selected such as Mukhiyas, a member of the ward, members of Panchayat Samiti, members of the district council, members of the environment from various urban areas of the local body such as Corporation Municipal, Nagar Parishad and Nagar Panchayat and the elected Cantonment Board members voted in the Constitution of the Local Authority Board.
In the last election for 24 seats held in July 2015, there were 1,38,904 voters.
The last selection was held at 534 voting stations throughout the state.
There are 51 MLCs against total strength of 75 at home.
