Kolkata: Even though there was a setback at Bhowanipore, BJP managed to maintain a handle above several traditional election bases in Kolkata’s luxury area, with Tibhewal Priyanka ensured the lead in at least 31 polling and finishing couplers close to the Trinamool Congress in almost a dozen.

In the absolute number, however, Tibewal managed to secure tin in the 11% room in the Bhowanipore constituency, compared with 32% five months ago.
At Ward 63, the area includes Lord Sinha Road, Camac Street, Theater Road, Pretoria Street Wood Street and Hungerford Street, BJP has minimal sound erosion.
It is certain to lead in 13 polling booths compared to the last 16 times, of the 27 rooms in the ward.
