New Delhi: Parragar Utpal, the son of the former Chief of Minister of Goa Manohar Parragar will oppose the election of the State Assembly from Panaji as an independent candidate.
It came a day after BJP denied the ticket from the Panaji seat that he wanted to compete, giving birth to Astanasio Monserrate instead.
Manohar Parragar has held the Panaji seat from 1994 to Demis in 2019.
As soon as BJP announced Panaji candidates, Utpal received demands from several opposition parties, promising support if he took BJP.
