Polling Over, Stop Wrangling Politics: Calcutta HC

Kolkata: The election ends and people have given their decision and it’s time to “stop political disputes”, said the Calcutta High Court on Friday while dismissing the CBI and Ed petition questioning the notice of the speaker of the Bengal Assembly to them.
Bananjee’s Biman speaker has asked CBI and Ed officers to appear before him on October 4 and explain why his permission was not sought when sending a cost sheet and capturing MLA in the case of Scam Narada.
Central institutions have transferred the High Court to speaker notice.
“It’s enough …
from both sides …
enough political disputes.
Voters have spoken.
It is a shame “It is clear that this court has not decided on the compliance and validity of the process before the speakers learned and all problems will remain open to decide, if nervous by the parties in the future,” he added.
Lawyer General Tushar Mehta said in court that agents would appeal fresh.
CBI and Ed Pleas in the HC question the validity of the “call” of the speaker and dub them “violating the law” and claiming they interfere with their work “that is impartial and independent”.
Bengal Advocate-General SN Mukherjee told Tii that he had submitted in court that it was a “notification” and did not “number calls”.
Deputy Deputy CBI Police Satendra Singh and Ed Assistant Director Rathin Biswas have moved to court, begging that the “call” speaker is ruled out.
The CBI, ED the officer had met with the speaker after HC ordered five ED officers and two ED officers presented themselves before Bengal Biman Banerjee’s speaker on October 4 after HC directed CBI officials to appear before him and “respect” his hearing delay.
HC asked the CBI in March 2017 to probe the introduction more than a year after Narada’s fraud appeared in the Bengal poll.
The CBI submitted FIR in April 2017 and, on January 28 this year, looking for the nod of the Governor – and not the speaker – to sue Firhad Judge, Subrata Mukherjee, Madan Mitra and Sovan Chatterjee.
Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar gave sanctions on May 7, five days after the election results carry Trinamool to the office for the third term.
