Mumbai: Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Sunday accused six to seven party candidates for the upcoming election of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly “illegally”.
Talking to reporters in Mumbai, Raut said he would meet the election commission about this and submit all the required documents.
The selection of 403-member assembly will be held in several phases over the next two months.
Raut accused that in six to seven constituencies in Noida, Bijnor and Meerut, the district judges each abuse their strength and reject the nominations of Shiv Sena candidates “under pressure” so as not to allow the party above.
