Polling up: AAP released the first list of 150 candidates

Lucknow: AAM AAM AADMI (AAP) on Sunday released the first list of 150 candidates for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly poll.
In 55, the party gave the maximum ticket amount to the candidate from the backward class in the list.
This list was released by AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh at a press conference here this afternoon.
He said AAP would compete in all 403 assembly chairs and the names of the remaining candidates would be announced soon.
The party has provided a ticket to 55 candidates from the backward class, 36 Brahmana, 31 Scheduled caste and 14 Muslims, among others, he said.
Singh said AAP had lowered a good and feasible candidate in the election.
“In the first list, there are eight candidates who have completed the MBA.
Apart from this, there are 38 postgrades, four doctors, eight who have done a PhD, seven engineers and 39 graduates.
Eight women have been given a ticket on the first list,” he said.
“Now it’s up to people to choose this worthy candidate and send them to Vidhan Sabha and remove defilements in politics,” he said.
Polling Assembly Uttar Pradesh will be held in seven phases between February 10 and March 7.
Vote counting will take place on March 10.
