The EC said it would also hold a poll in two seats Murshidabad, Jangipur and Shamshergunj, along with Bhowanipore on September 30.
The poll in these two seats cannot be held at all due to the death of the candidates.
EC initially set a May 16 poll schedule for polls here, but then suspended without limits due to covid restrictions and movements.
While the formal reaction of TMC was awaited when the report was submitted, Banerjee CM learned to cancel the North Bengal trip on September 6-9.
The last day for submitting nominations was September 13.
