Kanpur: Shivpal Yadav, who had been given a ticket by the Samajwadi Party (SP) Akhilesh Yadav, will submit nominations of Jaswantnagar on January 28.
Shivpal informed about his nomination through his Twitter account, saying, “I will file my nomination as candidate of the Alliance SP and PSP Jaswantnagar assembly seat from Etawah according Covid protocols and other guidelines issued by the Election Commission at 11:30 am on 28 January, Friday.
“To remember, Shivpal was officially announced as a Samajwadi party candidate from Jaswantnagar assembly seats on Saturday.
He will oppose the election on a bicycle symbol SP.
With the announcement of the nomination was followed by this tweet, speculation has also been rested, where it is said that Shivpal can leave Jaswantnagar seat for his son Aditya.
Etawah Jaswantnagar seat is said to be a bastion of SP.
Protector SP Mulayam Singh has been MLA for six times in this seat.
On the other hand, Shivpal is the MLA for five consecutive terms.
Although MODI WAVE in the 2017 assembly elections, the BJP can not bloom lotus in Jaswantnagar seat.
Jaswantnagar in Etawah district will choose the third phase on February 20.
Shivpal, who heads Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia), currently representing the constituency in the Assembly.
Shivpal had differences with his nephew and SP President Akhilesh Yadav after Family Feud and formed PSPL before the last assembly polls in 2017.
In December last year, they announced an alliance for the Assembly polls in Phase Seven held in seven phases.
