New Delhi: Because Delhi air quality is expected to deteriorate from next month, the Delhi pollution control committee will take action on the use of non-cleaning fuels in the industry, combustion tires, sets with emissions control devices and C & D FLOUTING guidelines.
The DPCC will focus on these four fields in addition to their winter plans to minimize air pollution.
Track the level of pollution in your Cityaccording to DPCC officials, a special drive will start from mid-October to act against the industry using non-cleaning fuel and causing emissions.
More than 1,600 industrial units turned to PNG after the pipes were placed in their industrial estates.
“However, industrial estates that have no pipes are required to use other clean fuel forms.
We will act against units found using non-cleaner fuel,” said an official.
Some people in an unorganized sector burn tires to extract oil, which causes air pollution.
The DPCC will crack down on the person involved in illegal activities.
Similarly, the DPCC in July this year directed all users set diesel generators with a capacity of 125 kva and above to install emissions control devices to control the level of pollution.
If the user cannot install emissions control devices, they are directed to shift to a gas-based generator.
“Every user sets DG like that with a capacity of 125 kVA found without emission control devices will attract action according to the air condition (prevention and pollution control) ACT 1981,” said an official.
To reduce dust and air pollution related to construction and demolition activities, the Delhi government has published a guideline last year.
Among the remedies of the dust mitigation set by the government using a metal sheet of 10 meters thick on the site to prevent dust blowing, covering debris and construction materials with tarpaulins, sprinkling water so that the dust area is free during operational conditions and using anti-fog weapons in More than 20,000 SQM sites and cover vehicles carrying construction materials and wash their wheels regularly.
