Puducherry: Directorate of distance education, Pondicherry University has started reception online to various courses for the 2021-22 academic year.
Chancellors of Gurmet Singh officially launched the online receipt portal in front of a distance direction director CK Busah, Registrar (responsible) Amaresh Samantara, Financial Officer (responsible) D Lazar and the College Development Board (Responsible) K Chandrasekara Rao, among others .

The Directorate has introduced an MBA program in marketing, finance, human resource management, international business, general administration, tourism, operation & supply chain management and hospital management.
It has introduced four undergraduate degrees – trade (finance), English, Hindi and Sociology and eight scholars – business administration, trade, English, economics, history, political science, sociology and journalism & mass communication.
All programs offered by the University are recognized and approved by the All Indian Board for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Distance Education Bureau (DEB), New Delhi.
Busah said the Directorate had automated the receipt process to enable students from any part of the country to submit their application form and pay for online fees.
