The former Australian captain Ricky Ponting has questioned the British decision to choose Chris Woakes in front of Mark Wood for the second ash test at Adelaide Oval.
Woates claimed one goal for 103 running at 23.4 The first innings during Australia took the test command, with the home team looking to build their opening victory from the series in Brisbane.
Ponting said the inclusion of Woakes over wood, which played on the first test, had had a detrimental impact on the influence of the British All-rounder Ben Stokes.
