Mumbai: Regulating rolling balls for general elections to BMC and14 other city companies in the state, the State Election Commission (SEC) on Saturday crashed into the timeline to resolve the boundaries of ward after they increased in Mumbai and determined several panel wards in other civil bodies.
With the timeline stating the final list of environmental boundaries will be published on March 2, polls for Indian Richest Civic companies, BMC, are arranged to be postponed and may be encouraged to the end of March or April.
BMC polls are expected to be held in February as the term Civic House ending on March 8 must be carried out before civilian elections are held.
The number of electoral environments in the city will increase from 227 to 236.
The SEC has directed BMC to issue boundaries of the revised ward on February 1 and invite suggestions / objections until February 14.
The trial of the advice / objections received will be held.
On February 26, and a report will be submitted to the SEC on March 2.
The same schedule will apply to other companies including Thane, which will also conduct polls.
The Country Cabinet has approved a proposal to improve the election environment in BMC and has several panel wards for other companies.

In a letter to BMC and other local bodies, the SEC has said completion of bookings for OBC will take time.
The state government has submitted a petition to leave specifically at the Supreme Court, which directed the country to submit details to the OBC commission.

BJP Mla from Mulund Mihir Kotecha said the party would wait for the details of the boundaries of ward.
“It is known that a political body affiliated with the ruling party (Shiv Sena) and not BMC has compiled environmental boundaries.

BJP has won 82 seats in the last civilian election and in more than 25 seats, it was won with a margin of less than 1,000 votes.
