Poor students will receive incentives in EDUGATION: Goa CM

PANAJI: The Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant said that to keep the engineering program seat empty in Goa, the state would give incentives to pursue technical education in the state.
“We have seen that for the last five years of a continuous seat in the field of engineering in the state, even the polytechnics, they remain empty, almost 50%.
After clearing class X and XII, students only think of joining, BA, BSC, BCK, programs BBA and do not think outside of this course.
Technical education may not be currently affordable for students from the back and rural economically.
To improve these students, we will provide incentives, “Sawant said, spoke on the day of the world youth expertise in the state.
