Population of Vidarbha District Pune Double, the same vaccination for both

Nagpur: Covid-19 vaccination cannot occur in 121 of the 122 centers run by Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) on Sunday due to lack of covishield doses.
Data from the State Public Ministry of Health (PhD) revealed that 11 Vidarbha Regency received 2.42 lakh doses of covishield while Pune regency only received 2,48,280 doses since the resumption of the 18-44 year age group.
Vaccination requests increased by the resumption of inoculation for the 18-44 age group on June 23.
On June 24, the state has supplied 1.75,500 covishield doses for the entire region while 1,73,970 doses for the Pune District.
Due to the lack of dosage, 96% of the centers closed in the city on June 25.
This region recovered Lot 66,500 doses on Sundays and the Pune District received 74,310 doses.
The Nagpur District received 24,000 doses of 14,500 sent to NMC for the city.
NMC will continue vaccination at 122 centers on Monday but the possibility of running out of stock in the first round.
A day ago, 28,012 people had taken JAB in the center of NMC.
Therefore, 14,500 doses are as good as 50% of the needs of the day.
Inoculation will be affected on Tuesday if fresh stocks are not accepted on Monday.
In accordance with PhD data, the Pune District population is estimated at 1.17 crores.
The vidarbha region population is 2.55 crores.
The area has registered 10.96 positive cases of lakh covid-19 and 20,173 deaths until June 26.
Pune district cases are 10.5 lakh and fatality – 16,551.
Ex-cm and opposition leader Devendra Fadnivis told toi, “this is a proper distribution of bias and against vidarbha.
There should be no minimum where people lives are involved.
I will ask the government why such discrimination is being carried out.” Minister Guardian Nitin Raut said, “I demand 3.5 lakh doses per day for the district.
At least we have to get 3.5 doses of lakh in a week.
But the central government does not provide sufficient number of doses,” he said.
Raut said he had raised more allocation issues to Pune District with PhD officials and would take it at the state level.
The Director of State Health Services Dr.
Archana Patil said, “Dosage allocation is per district population at the initial stage.
Then, the system turns into a burden.
Now, the dosage is allocated according to the performance of the last three days.
There is no discrimination.” In government centers, 43,538 doses Given on June 26 35,469 on June 24 and 40.239 on June 23, with a total of 1,19,246.

The number of recipients falls down to 4,050 in rural areas on Sunday.
Thus, the total vaccination was 7,559 in the district on Sunday because it recorded 45,839 a day ago.
