Portugal PM prepares to arrange after a surprise victory

Lisbon: Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa was prepared Monday to rule Solo after the Socialist Party scored a landslide surprise, with the economic recovery of the pandemic between its main priority.
It secured the majority in parliament in the election in an instant on Sunday, which also looked at the far right of the chega party make a significant advantage.
Socialists received 41.7 percent of the vote in a snap poll on Sunday, giving 117 seats in the parliament 230 seats, up from 108 in the assembly out.
Four seats still need to be associated in the coming days of the vote from overseas, but in 2019 the socialist gets two.
The results challenge the final poll that has suggested that the socialist is in a statistical tie with the opposition right-center the main PSD, which finished second with 76 seats.
President Marcelo Rebelo De Sousa is expected to officially invite Costa, who has led two minority governments since 2015, this weekend to form a new government.
“Conditions have been created to carry out investments and reforms for Portugal to become more prosperous, fairer, more innovative,” Costa said in his victory speech.
The prospect of a stable government was very important for Portugal to make the most of 16.6 billion euros ($ 18.7 billion) from the European Union’s recovery fund for receiving by 2026.
The Portugal economy began to recover after shrinking 8.4 percent by 2020 as Covid-19 Pandemic Her Her Key Tourism Sector and other business.
This rose 4.9 percent in 2021, the fastest pace since 1990, driven by export and investment growth, the National Statistics Ine Institute said Monday.
Costa said he wanted to use most of the European Union funds to modernize Portugal infrastructure to make it more competitive.
Until now, the former Mayor of Lisbon must depend on the support of the two left-wing parties – anti-capitalist blok left and the Communist Party – to rule.
“Without being bound to the left radical, socialist and Costa have the opportunity to apply more centric and European recipes,” said Publico’s daily newspaper in the editorial.
This is the second time that Portugal has a socialist government with a majority vote in parliament since the country returned to democracy in 1974 after the end of the dictatorship for decades.
The poll on Sunday was summoned after two left-wing parties supported by the Costa minority government sided with the right-wing parties to reject 2022 budget design in October.
Radical left has encouraged to spend more social and want to quickly ride the minimum wage of what is promised by Costa, but both of the chairs are gone.
Voters “punished” far away to trigger an early poll, Antonio Costa Pinto said, a professor at the Lisbon University Institute of Social Sciences.
“The part of the left wing voter without doubt concentrated on their voices in the socialist party gave an absolute majority impossible,” he told National Radio.
Joy in the socialist camp was angry by the emergence of the chega right party, which won 12 seats up from only one, so the third largest party in parliament.
Chega Andre Ventura leader, difficult to speak former TV sports commentator, has vowed to oppose the hardness of Costa in the new parliament.
“Antonio Costa, I came for you,” he told his supporters at his party’s campaign headquarters after the vote.
“From now on there will be no soft opposition.
We will act as a real opposition for the Socialists …
and restore self-esteem to this country.” Under the supervision of Costa, Portugal has launched a resiliation measures, maintained fiscal discipline, a significant increase in minimum wage and cut the pre-pandemic unemployment level.
But PSD Rio argues that tax cuts and privatization are needed to increase growth.
