Gurgaon: A man allegedly cheated by four young men who posed as financing company officials.
Sunil Kumar, a resident of Faridabad, passed Atul Kataria Chowk on his new motorcycle when four young men on two motorbikes made him stop.
“They introduced ourselves as officials from a financing company and said I had not paid my installments, as a result I had to hand over my motorcycle,” said the complainant.
After that, Kumar gave his motorcycle on the condition that he would get it back once he paid three extraordinary installments.
Then, when he called a financial company, they denied such involvement from their side.
Kumar said he had bought a bicycle from a financing company and had not paid the last three installments so that when these people appeared with such specifications, he trusted them.
A pine was submitted on Wednesday at the 17/18 sector police station.
