Mumbai: The city recorded more than 20 covid deaths for the fifth consecutive day.
In previous weeks, daily deaths have dropped to an average of 14-16 in the city.
Among other districts, Kolhapur recorded the highest cases (1,850) and death (40) on Sundays.
However, on positive records, not one case or death was reported from the city of Malegaon and the Gondia District on Sunday.
Mumbai added 24 deaths and 553 cases on Sunday.
Supplementary City Commissioner Suresh Kakani said he had asked the Covid medical college and the main hospital to analyze death.
“We have noticed a marginal increase in death.
In some cases, we find that critical patients are called from private hospitals in the final stage,” he added.
Nine of them who died were between 40-60 years and 14 patients over 60 years old.
On Sunday, 123 new deaths and 183 mortality made amailed to encourage victims of the whole country to 1,23,030.
However, there is a marginal decline in new detection because the state adds 9,336 new cases.
Of the total 123 deaths throughout the state, the circle of Kolhapur contributed 59 deaths in the last 24 hours.
Kolhapur is now the only district with a weekly front minister of more than 10%.
This situation seems to increase in MMR as other than Mumbai and Raigad (3), 10 other cities do not report one death.
The Nagpur circle only reported two deaths.
