Noida: The Anti-Corruption Court in Meerut has directed the Ajay Pal Sharma IPS officer and three media to get their voice samples recorded at the Forensic Science Laboratory in Lucknow on September 20 in connection with the case of nesting grafts.
The direction came on the application submitted by the investigation officer in this case, which accused the former Police Chief Noida Sharma and three others – Chandan Rai, Swapnil Rai and Atul Kumar – have not received their voice sample in the Lucknow forensic science laboratory despite notice to them …
in September 2020, the Department of Precautions had submitted FIR in Meerut against Sharma and other IPS officers, Himanshu Kumar, under Section 8 Prevention of Corruption Law for the Alleged Post.
The other three were accused of acting as an intermediary.
As part of an investigation, the team of vigilance has attached a telephone call recording and clipping chat from Trio’s cellphone, which was related to police officers.
“Investigative officers have submitted an application in court.
However, Sharma and the other three have submitted their objections to the application, saying that the media trial was being carried out against them,” said Sanjeev Gupta, additional government advisors.
However, the Gyan Prakash Singh Special Judge Court (anti-corruption), however, directed Sharma and the others to get their sound samples recorded.
In January 2020, Sharma was transferred from Rampi, where he was SP, to the police training center in Unnao after a report by former Noida SSP Vaibhav Krishna named it and five other IPS officers at the Cash-For-Posting Racket.
