Post Officers IAS & IPS at J & K, Ladakh is considered a ‘hard area’

New Delhi: IAS and IPS officers, owned by Cadre Agmut, and serve in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will be considered “hard area” posts.
According to official communication, the decision has been taken by the central government in this effect and guidelines for transfers and posting IAS, IPS officers from the combined Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, the Mizoram Union (Agmut) have been modified in this effect.

“As a result of the incorporation of J & K cadres to Agubut cadres, this problem has been examined And with the approval of competent authority, it has been decided that the Union Jamu and Kashmir and the Union Ladakh region can be categorized as category B (Hard Fields) in the Joint Cadre AGMUT, “said the Ministry of Home Communication.
Thus, the transfer guidelines, IAS posts, IPS officers from the combined AGMUT CADRE -2016 are partially modified and the agmut cadre segment is classified into two categories, namely regular and difficult regions.
Posting in Delhi, Chandigarh, Goa, Puducherry, Nagar Haveli and Daman and Daman and Daman will be considered as “regular areas” or categories A, while posts in Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Lakshadweep, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will be considered considered As a “difficult field” or Category B.
