The committee, formed by the Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in a direction by five judges in the High Court, also said that these cases must be tried outside the country.
“The spatio-temporal expanse of the incidence of violence in the West Bengal state reflects the terrible apathy of the state government towards the fate of the victim”, he said.
“The Committee has recommended that sad violations such as murder, rape, etc.
must be submitted to the CBI for investigations and these cases must be tried outside the country,” the report was submitted before the court on June 13, said.
A group of pils submitted before the High Court accused that people experienced attacks, made to escape from home, and property was destroyed as a result of violence after the poll in Bengal.
