New Delhi: CBI has arrested five suspects in the past month in connection with investigations in the case of posting messages of insulting to judges and justice.
The agency has also examined Lok Sabha MP Nandigam Suresh and former MLA Amanchi Krishnamohan, both of them belong to the YSR Congress, in this case.
While three suspects were arrested in July, two were held on August 7, only the day after the Chairman of the Ramana Ramana NV Judge did not have a priority for the institution’s investigation and that their complaints were harassed or intimidated were not considered even though there was a CBI calculation that was hanging out.
The two suspects arrested have now been identified as Pattapu Aadarsh and Lavanuru SIKA SIVA REDDY.
Agency spokesman R C Joshi said the duo was produced in front of a court in Guntur in Andhra Pradesh.
Before this, the CBI arrested two accused in July.
They were identified as Pamula Sudheer, in custody for interrogation until August 10, and Dhani Reddy Conda Reddy who in the holding of judge.
The CBI has registered a case on November 11 last year against 16 people and took an investigation of 12 firs from Cid, Andhra Pradesh, to pursue a high court order.
The original FIR was registered with complaints from the Registrar General of the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
It was alleged that the defendant deliberately targeted the justice by making a pole of suction on the social media platform against judges and justice, following a certain court verdict.
The CBI has made the first arrest in the case on July 9 when a suspect named Lingareddy Rajasekhar Reddy landed from Kuwait.
“The CBI traced 13 of the 16 accused named anxiously in cases on various digital platforms.
Three of them were found abroad.
The CBI has so far checked 11 of the 13 people accused and arrested five of them.
The CBI pursues to secure the presence of two accused Others are said to be abroad, “CBI spokesman RC Joshi said.
The search was also conducted by the CBI at the defendant where the recovery of some burdensome documents.
Also found that someone was accused of using a passport with a different name from its original identity.
