Ponmudi said on Monday that the state government had decided to delay all semester examinations at universities given a surge in Covid-19 case.
The exam is scheduled to begin on January 20 and the minister said that the revised date will be announced later after the number of cases dropped.
The previous state government has announced the physical behavior of the exam after January 20 and universities is directed to provide studies to students.
“I ask students to prepare for the exam.
Check mode will be decided later depending on the pandemic situation.
Almost all universities resolve the syllabus,” he told the media.
