Power crisis: cm directing officials to prepare action plans

Jaipur: The Chairman of the Minister of Ashok Gehlot has directed officers to prepare an action plan to ensure the power supply in the coming days on request and availability.
He also directed the Energy Department official to visit Chhattisgarh and monitor the availability of coal in the Batubara Block located there and ensure that the coal is sufficiently available according to the country’s needs.
The minister’s chairman reviews the power crisis faced by the country because of a lack of coal at the thermal power station.
Discounts say they are forced to find load loading due to coal deficiencies.
It was informed at the meeting that wind plants also produce less power than installed capacity.
The public must be made aware of deepening the coal crisis in the country and reducing the capacity of power generation from thermal power plants because it does not get enough coal so they have to be encouraged to save electricity, meetings observed.
The crisis is currently triggered by the coal mine roundabout because the rain does not approach production which is hampered.
Some thermal power generation units cannot produce power in their full capacity causing power shortages.
