Chennai: Tangedco has announced a power outage in several parts of Chennai and the outskirts from 9am to 5pm on Thursday for maintenance work.
Supply will be continued before 5pm if the job is completed, the official release said.
There will be a power outage in Velachery West, Adyar, Mylapore, Manali, KK Nagar and Kovoor.
In Kovoor, there will be a power outage in Kovoor, Periyapurur, Baraniputur, Thandalam, Mancheri, South Malayambakkam, Taman Babu, Akash Nagar, Manikandan Nagar, Metha Nagar, and part of Kundrathur.
In Velachery West, there will be a power cut in Kamarajapuram, Ganapati Nagar, Radha Mohan Street, Jalan Gandhi Kumaran, Jalan Kannaki.
In the Adyar area, there will be a power outage on the 8th & 9th and 9th Delleeswaram road, the 3rd Delleeswaram main road.
In Mylapore, there will be a power cut in ThreehumurThy Nagar Main Road, Tephumanthy Nagar 2nd Street and 4th Street.
In Manali, there will be a power outage at Parthasarathy Street, Avarai Kollimedu, Cheyalam Street, Periyasekkadu, Perumal Koil Street and Pachaiyappan Garden.
At KK Nagar, there will be a power outage in the 15th Colony 15, Anna Kudiiruppu, KK Nagar, Jalan Munusamy, Jalan Moogambigi, Jalan Kodambakkam, Avvai Nagar from Chooolaimedu, Govindaraj Street, Pandian Avenue of Choolaimedu, Suresh Nagar, AVM Colony , Balaji Nagar and its surroundings.
