Chennai: Tangedco has announced a power outage in the Tambaram division on the outskirts of Chennai starting at 9am to 2 noon on Friday for maintenance work.
Supply will be continued before 14:00 if the job is completed, according to the official release.
There will be a power cut at Jeyacandran Nagar, Nesavalan Nagar, Rice Mill Road, Padmavathy Nagar, Thiruvalluvar Nagar in Sithalapakkam and Purusothaman Nagar, SBI Colony, Manicka Naickar Street, Gangai Amman Nagar, Balaji Nagar, Nagar Nagar and Sundratamal Colony.
In Kapapi, there will be a power outage at Durga Nagar Housing Board, Jalan Erikari, Pillalyar Koil Street, Kamaraj Street, Gandhi Street, Periyar Street, Tagore Street, and its surroundings.
