Pune: Technical failure in the 400KV transmission line that turns on Lonukand and Chakan’s sub-stations produces a power outage in several parts of Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, Midc Chakan, Lonikand, and Wagholi, Wednesday morning.
Power outages affect more than 20 consumers of housing, commercial and the Lakh industry.
Tripping in accordance with the electricity transmission company State of Maharashtra (MSetCL), can be the result of fog and extreme dew.
The engineers from MSetCl are patrolling from the power line to solve the problem.
According to official electricity distribution company Maharashtra State (MSEDCL), alternative power supply is being arranged through rear feeders and priorities given to emergency services such as medical supply and water throughout Pune and Chinchwad’s Pimpri.
An official from MSEDCL Pune said that nearly 30% of the power of consumers affected was recovered at 10am, however, it would take several hours to recover complete supply.
Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) in his press statement said that the water supply was still closed due to the lack of power supply to the pump station at the lace base and water treatment in sector 23.
Meanwhile, MSEDCL officials were returned in the 50% section affected by Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad at 2pm.
Distribution of water supply in some parts of Pune’s labor boundary and almost all the limits of Civic Pimbri Chinchwad was influenced on Wednesday due to a power outage at the Rawet water pump station.
