Hyderabad: Telangana Explained from the Krishna (KRMB) Full Board Meeting Board HERE on Wednesday, taking Umbrage at the Chairperson of the KRMB MP Singh asked to stop the Hydel power plant in the Srisailam project.
At the meeting, Telangana also collected Krmb by failing to stop the transfer of water and telemetry installation at Krishna Basin by Andhra Pradesh.
Then asked the council to immediately stop the transfer of irrigation water by AP through the PothhireDypadu project and Handri Neeva by honoring the Order of the Bachawat Court (KWDT-1).
Telangana also complained about the alleged illegal projects taken by neighboring countries.
During the 14th Krmb council meeting held at the Needs Soudha, Singh was believed to say the power plant in Srisainam would only be permitted after meeting water requirements for irrigation and drinking water in the basin.
While Telangana said he would continue with Hydel power plants in Srisailam, KRMB directed the country to immediately stop the Hydel power plant.
The council said it would discuss the issue of power plants in another meeting, but the AP insisted that the problem had to be resolved immediately.
In a five-hour length meeting, the Irrigation of the Head of Secretary of Special Rajat Kumar submitted Telangana’s concern for the distribution of Water Krishna and alleged illegal projects built by AP.
AP officials, however, complained that Telangana produced illegally hydel power in the Srisailam project.
Busit the accusation, Telangana officials remembered that the Srisailam project was originally conceived to produce hydel power by the planning commission and that 180 TMCFF water must be released to the Dam of Sagar Nagarjuna.
This was confirmed by the Bachawat Tribunal as well, officials said and added Telangana did not mind if Andhra Pradesh produced Hydel power in Srisailam.
T Not ready for another meeting about power plants: Rajatrajat Kumar said they boycotted a meeting on Hydel power plants because KRMB did not accept state arguments despite showing all relevant documents.
“We told the government was not ready for other meetings about power plants,” he said.
Rajat told the council that water allocation in the ratio of 512: 299 TMCT of a total of 811 TMCFT on the Krishna River between the AP and Telangana was temporary and only applies to 2015-16.
Telangana officials argue that because the Godavari water is being transferred to Krishna by AP, Telangana has the right to utilize 45 TMCFF water above Nagarjuna Sagar in accordance with the court award.
They said only 20% of the drinking water draw had to be accounted for in accordance with the court of Bachawat.
“Of the 16.5 TMCFT withdrawn for Hyderabad drinking water purposes, only 3.3 TMCFT must be considered as a picture.
We have the right to take advantage of the 13 TMCFT balance.
Similarly, we must be allowed to utilize the traditional allocation of a mild irrigation project,” Telangana officials said.
The meeting was attended by irrigation officials from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh
