Pradhan inaugurated the academic complex at IIT Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday inaugurated an academic complex in IIT Bhubaneswar and expressed hope that additional infrastructure would allow students from the Premier institution to seek excellence.
The fourth global industrial revolution has required the creation of new business models and development to the world and IIT Bhubaneswar must create these models, helping to produce work and solve modern problems, the Union minister said.

The college hall complex currently has three buildings, while Rushikulya Hall of Residence is an 800-single hostel-sitting, the Institute said in the release.
The first of the building is now ready for operation and mini-complex consisting of 10 upside down classrooms being built, the word release.
In the future, three other buildings are likely to be added to the college hall complex which has a circular formation.
Pradhan emphasizes the need for greater collaboration between institutions to overcome local and environmental problems in disaster-prone conditions such as Odisha which will be a role model for the entire nation.
“By focusing on world-class research and innovation, our IIT has indeed become a symbol of Indian progress and success in higher education.
“Our IITS is one of the world’s top universities and contributes to the needs of global technology,” the Union Minister said.
On this occasion, the memorandum of understanding was signed between the Skills Development Institute, Bhubaneswar, and IIT, Bhubaneswar to share expertise and improve skills development activities for young people who were less employed, unemployed, and less capable.

Raja Kumar said the union government has so far provided a sanction of 1,260 crore rs to build infrastructure in two phases.
The current complex – which has facilities for lecture rooms has a seating capacity of 60, 120, and 240 – can be used for conventional classes and also functions as an e-class class, Kumar said.
The upside class complex is one of the most important in this country and can be used for conventional lectures, group tasks or individuals consisting of design, analysis, and assignment, said Kumar.
The lecture hall complex has been named for taking inspiration from Historical Pushpagiri Vihara, an important Buddhist site which is the main learning center.
The housing hall named Rushikulya River, famous for nesting Olive Ridley Turtles near her mouth.
