Ranchi / Chatra: Minister of Unio for Coal, Mines and Parliament Pralhad Joshi came to Jharkhand on a daily visit on Thursday to hold talks with coal companies and sort the coal crisis, which had affected electricity production in India.
Immediately after reaching Ranchi, he led a meeting at the Head Office Limited Coalfields (CCL) with CCL officials, Bharat Coking Coal Limited, The Eastern Coalfields Limited and the Institute of Planning and Center for Mining Center.
Additional Secretary in the Coal Ministry of VK Tiway and Cil Chairman Pramod Agarwal also attended the meeting.
He directed officials to ensure sustainable coal production and shipments to power plants and ensure that there is no shortage.
“The celebration season has begun and our duty to provide uninterrupted coal supplies for power plants,” he said, emphasizing that coal companies must take steps to cleanse congestion in coal production and transportation.
Joshi also convinces the power plant that they will continue to get the necessary supply.
