Prasagraj Civil Bags have served 10 lakh passengers in less than 3 years

Prasagraj: In less than three years being operational, civil bag (Prayagraj airport) located in the Bamrauli area of ​​Sangam City has achieved differences in catering to more than ten air passengers lakh.

During this period, more than 12,000 flights were operated from the airport.
It also includes a personal rented aircraft along with a large air service provider.
If not for the first and second waves of Covid-19, which resulted in a lack of passengers who suddenly arrived or left the city, the intersection of the ten lakh passengers can be reached by the airport in January itself.
During the first wave of pandemic, flight operations were very affected at the airport due to locking (from March 25 to May 2420).
Likewise, flight operations are again affected during the second Covid wave which leads to fewer flights in May and June this year.
However, after fighting with all obstacles, the airport reached an important milestone on September 8 when the air passenger number passed ten lakh mark.
On August 31, the number of passengers traveling through the airport reached 9.91 lakh.
On September 7, the number of passengers reached 9,99407.
After this, on September 8, this number crossed the ten lakh mark as 956 passengers arrived at or departed from the airport.
Until September 13, the total passenger movement at Prayagraj Airport rose to 10.05 lakh.
A total of 11 flights are currently Runnimg from prayagraj airport to ten cities.
Flights to Delhi and Billaspur are operated by Air Indian Air Alliance.
Direct flights with Indigo private airlines are being operated for Bangalore, Pune, Raipur, Gorakhpur, Delhi, Mumbai, Dehradun, Bhopal and Bhubaneshwar.
“It is our dream of PM that everyone is usually able to travel air, and the state government is in the process of fulfilling this dream.
Until 2017, only 25 flights operated from four airports in the state, but now 73 flights are operated regularly Of the eight airports including ProAgraj.
Soon Jewar, Ayodhya, Chitrakoot, Aligarh, Moradabad Airport will also be included in the air service map, “said Civil Aviation Minister in the Country Cabinet, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi.
