Chandigarh: Prashant Kishor’s political strategy on Thursday applied the resignation from the position of the main counselor of the Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh ahead of the assembly election of 2022.
In his resignation letter, Kishor stated that when he decided to take a temporary break from the active role in public life will not be able to let go of their duties as the main advisor of Punjab cm.
Kishor’s letter reads, “As you know, given my decision to take a temporary break from the active role in public life, I have not been able to take responsibility as your main advisor.” “Because I haven’t decided on my future actions, I wrote to ask you to free me from this responsibility.
I took this opportunity to thank you for considering me for this position,” added a political strategy expert in his letter.
In March this year, the chairman of the Minister of Punjab captain Amarinder Singh has appointed Kishor as his main advisor ahead of the 2022 poll in the state.
Taking to Twitter, Captain Amarinder said that he was looking forward to working with Kishor for the progress of the Punjab people.
“Glad to share that @Prashandkishor has joined me as my main advisor.
Hope to work together to improve the Punjab people!” Punjab cm has tweeted.
Speaking to Ani immediately after being appointed as the main advisor for Punjab cm, Kishor said that he would start working in a punjab in the next few days along with all other responsibilities.
Previously, the election strategist was issued by the Chairman of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee Congress Trinamool (TMC) for the Election of the West Bengal Assembly 2021 and has been shown in the past that he will stop Twitter if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) does a better country than its predictions.
As a political strategist, Kishor worked with many parties and helped them win various elections.
He helped the head of Janata Dal (United) Nith Kumar to win the Assembly poll in 2015.
Following this, Kumar appointed Kishor as Vice President JD-U.
However, Kishor was expelled from JD-U in January 2020 for his disagreement with the party about the problem of the national list of residents (NRC).
Last year, MK Draavida President Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has announced his party’s collaboration with the Prashant Kishor political strategy group of the Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) for the 2021 assembly poll in Tamil Nadu.
