Prasagraj: In a high-voltage drama in Pratapgarh, supporters of Congress and BJP clashed during Garebeb Kalyan Mela held at the Sangipur Development Block Auditorium in the district on Saturday.
In riot, MP BJP Sangamlal Gupta was allegedly attacked by supporters of the Pramod Tiwari congress leader and his daughter Aradhana Mishra ‘Mona’, who was MLA from a typical mixture.
MP was saved by the police and escorted to a safe place.
He then submitted FIR against Pramod Tiwari, his daughter Aradhana Mishra and 25 others named and 50 people who were not named in the relevant IPC section, including 307 (efforts to murder), 146 (riots), 336 (acting to endanger the lives of others or) At the Lalganj Pratapgarh police station.
