Pratapgarh Engineer returns safely from Afghanistan with the help of the US Air Force

Prasagraj: When thousands of people fled the state of Afghanistan who were grateful, and the Indian government was evacuating its citizens from there, a 35-year-old engineer from neighboring Pratapgarh district could also leave Afghanistan and reach the house.
Ashok Kumar Singh is the original Kunwar Ka Purva in Babugaj Bazar from Lalganj Tehsil.
He returned to India through Kuwait with the help of the US Air Force.
Ashok Kumar Singh, who reached Pratapgrah on Wednesday, spoke to Ti on the telephone and told the affairs of regret in the country which is now fully controlled by the Taliban.
Ashok worked as an IT engineer in the American Army Basic Camp in Kabul during the Taliban takeover.
Ashok said, “Our base camp is located about 8-10 km from Pul-e-Charchi, the largest prison in Kabul, and employs 60 people.
Among them are five Indians, 35 Americans and 20 British citizens.
Two hours before The Taliban will reach Kabul on August 14th, we received a call from the US Embassy to empty the camp.
Before leaving the camp, we secured reserves of all data and destroyed around 200 laptops.
As many as 40 armed vehicles from the US Army were burning.
After this, Six Chinook helicopters from the US Army welcomed us.
“We were taken to Doha by the US Air Force aircraft on the night of August 15.
After staying there for the next day, we arrived in Kuwait, and then landed in New Delhi on Tuesday night, “he said.
Talking about the current scenario in Afghanistan, Ashok said,” Even though the Taliban was welcomed by several Afghans, most of the residents wanted Escape because of their freedom and better opportunities because their fate is very bleak in their own country now.
“He also told that even though the Indian government evacuated their citizens of several locations, there were still many Indians who had not been flown back to safety as soon as possible Maybe.
“There was chaos in Afghanistan.
When locals try to get out in all ways, someone can imagine the fate of many Indians who are still trapped there, “said young engineers who were lucky enough to reach their homes within three days after being flown.
