New Delhi: Tripura Lok Sabha MP Pratima Bhowmik is among 16 MPs for the first time to take an oath as a minister at the Cabinet Narendra Modi on Wednesday.
BJP members from 1991, Induction Bhowmik is a clear indication that BJP is preparing to defend the country won for the first time in 2018, considering the government of the Minister of BIPLAB Deb in the country faces problems from the party.
While there is a problem for BJP in the small northeastern state with two seats Sabha, for a while now, the victory of Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal for the third term has created a further threat with the Trinamool Congress trying to revive its wealth in the country.
Many of BJP MLA has now moved from TMC before the 2018 assembly poll, but the return of Mombang Roy, who has established a Bengal Party in Tripura, which has a good number of Bengali populations, can be a real threat to BJP in the state.
Post His Bengal’s victory, TMC has aggressively began to campaign in Tripura.
With this scenario, BJP immediately acts to ensure that his strength in the field does not go down.
Bhowmik induction will strengthen BJP’s moral in the state, where most tribal voters have moved from the powerful regime.
It also underlines the fact that Tripura is a small country, not ignored in the center.
Bhowmik is the first permanent resident of Tripura to join the Union cabinet.
Previously, the leader of the West Bengal Congress Dr.
Triguna Sen, a member of Rajya Sabha from Tripura was the Minister of Education in the Indira Gandhi Cabinet and Santosh Mohan Dev from Assam, who opposed Lok Sabha’s polls from the Western Tripura Constituency in 1989, became the minister in the cabinet of Rajiv Gandhi , Bhowmik is the second woman from the Northeast to get to the Union Cabinet, after Bijaya Chakraborty from Assam who is a minister at the Government Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
