The saints in Ayodhya have done “Mahammrityunjay Jaap” and ‘Hawan’ for the Lata singer Mangeshkar who had Bene hospitalized after testing Covid-19 positive.
Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya Maharaj, who participated in the holy ritual carried out for Mangeshkar said that he also hoped that Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the 92-year-old singer, who was currently in the ICU.
“We have done ‘Mahammrityunjay Jaap’ for the health of a better Lata Mangeshkar singer.
I will ask Prime Minister Narendra Modi to meet him,” said Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya Maharaj.
The singer tested the positive Coronavirus with mild symptoms and was received at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) from the Permen Breach Hospital in South Mumbai on January 8.
The Mangeshkar family, through an official singer account, once again asked people not to enjoy spreading ‘disturbing rumors’ about his health condition.
“There is an increase in marginal in the health of Lata Didi and he continues to be in the ICU.
Please do not spread disturbing rumors or fall prey with a random message about health Didi.

In a separate statement from the family, they said Mangeshkar was treated by a team of doctors, led by Dr.
Pratit Samdani.
“It is impossible to provide updates every day because it is direct intrusion in family privacy.
We ask each of you to be sensitive to this problem,” read the statement, shared by a family friend near Anusha Srinivasan Iyer.
