MUMBAI: Many pieces of Maharashtra, including Mumbai, are predicted to get pre-monsoon showers of diverse intensity at the subsequent 48 hours, the India Meteorological Department said on Thursday.
According to the IMD’s regional prediction, widespread storms will lash Mumbai along with the whole coast of Maharashtra until Saturday.
“The current weather conditions are more most likely to attract showers in a variety of areas of the nation, together with varied intensity.
The trough (a kind of low-lying region ) from cyclonic flow over east-central Arabian Sea along with area to north Konkan is now less conspicuous,” that the IMD stated.
It may bring widespread showers into fundamental Maharashtra, covering districts from around Nandurbar into Solapur.
Scattered and isolated showers are more most likely to strike on the Marathwada and Vidarbha area also at another 48 hours, the IMD said.
