Pune: Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Mahametro) has started running a Metro Rake soldier on a vanz-garzware college priority stretch.
The first street of Rake installed on the bridge was held on Thursday night, on a kilometer-long stretch of Venaz Depot to Anandnagar Station.
Venaz-Garware College is a second priority stretch, with the PIMPRI-DAPODI part of the PCMC-Swargate line into another.
It will also be a second stretch to host trials after the Pimpri-Dapodi section.
Mahametro official said there was a pre-trial process aimed at checking technical parameters.
The actual trial will begin in a few days, officials said.
“Preparation for official trials is in progress.
We started with pre-trials from Thursday.
We examine all important parameters for the official trial.
Entries and out of Rake from the Depot are an important part of this.
Our team checks all technical parameters,” said Hemant Sonawane, General Manager (PR), Mahametro.
Initially, Rake ran slowed down the stretch of one kilometer.
“There is no big hikcup reported,” said an official.
Officials say that all of the Jambangan at 5 km Venaz-Garware College Stretch has recently finished.
The work has been delayed in two places – near The Paud Phata Flyover at Karve Road and near Shivtirthnagar at PAUD Road.
Rake ran towards Garware College Station gradually, officials said.
Mahametro has also accelerated the construction of stations on this Priority Stretch – Vanaz, Anandnagar, ideal colony, stop and garware colleges.
A source said Mahametro was interested in completing all jobs at at least one stretch on August 15.
Work on the Pimpri-Dapodi stretch is in the advanced stage; The two stations were almost complete, and the trials carried out so far have been successful, said the source.
