SRINAGAR: The government of Jammu and Kashmir has made mandatory vigilance permission for its employees who are looking for a passport.
The Department of General Administration in a circular issued on Thursday has asked all administrative secretaries and departments to issue a certificate without objections to employees who are looking for passports only after obtaining vigilance permission in this matter.
This circular was issued in line with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Personnel, the Indian government, in February last year for employees who wanted to find a passport.
According to the guidelines, it was made mandatory to find fresh vigilance permits for passport issuance by the Ministry of External Affairs.
Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau also honed the administration that the existing mechanism was provided for passport issuance even for employees who opposed the case of registered alertness.
“Thus, there is an urgent need to instruct all administrative departments to issue NOC for passport issuance only based on the permission of alertness,” said circular.
