Written by news2in

Noida: A six-month-pregnant woman was allegedly assaulted by four people in Gautam Buddh Nagar district’s Dankaur area on Thursday evening.
The woman’s family has alleged the accused were local strongmen and want to acquire possession over their house.
According to the woman’s husband Nizakat, the incident happened around 5pm on Thursday when he was at the bike repair shop where he works.
Nizakat’s younger brothers too were out for work at the time of the incident and his wife Reshma was alone in the house.
Nizakat told TOI that the accused identified as Mansoor, Buniyaad, Asif and Mansoor’s wife Firdous barged into his house and threw Reshma to the ground.
“They attacked her with their hands.
She was hit on her stomach and hands as she tried to save herself.
My wife has suffered an injury on her hand and she is in pain ever since the incident took place,” he said.
The woman had to be admitted to the Dankaur PHC from where she was referred to the district hospital, Sector 30.
Nizakat alleged that when he reached the spot after getting information, the accused hurled abuses at him and attacked.
“When I was riding my bike to take Reshma to a hospital, the accused chased me for a few kilometres and also aimed a country-made pistol at me,” he alleged.
Reshma is currently recuperating at the district hospital and Nizakat said doctors had said that her condition was not too promising.
The families had earlier had fights in April this year and June last year.
ACP-3 (Greater Noida) Brijnandan Rai said that an FIR had been lodged in the case under IPC sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 452 (house-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restraint) and 504 (whoever intentionally insults, and thereby gives provocation to any person, intending or knowing it to be likely that such provocation will cause him to break the public peace).
In another case, a 30-year-old pregnant woman was allegedly assaulted by the tenant of her aunt in Noida’s Sector 50.
The woman stays with her aunt and her sister.
Police say the sisters are known to misbehave with their elderly aunt and during one such argument on Wednesday, the latter’s tenant intervened in their fight.
Sector-49 SHO Vinod Kumar told TOI that on the basis of the woman’s complaint, a non-cognisable report (NCR) was lodged against the tenant under IPC sections 325 (punishment for voluntarily causing grievous hurt) and 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees).
