Rajkot: A 55-year-old man and his two daughters of his in-laws, one of them was pregnant, suffered a bullet injury when five people opened fire on them for a small problem in Kheradi Village in Chotila Taluka from Surdenagar, Monday night.
The police said that Ramji Sakalia (55), who owned a preliminary store in Kheradi Village, and two daughters of Bharati (33) and a 30-year-old Jagu, who were pregnant, while in care at Rajkot Civil Hospital.
According to complaints submitted by Ramji, around 7pm, Monday Jayraj Dhandhal came to his allowance and began to abuse someone by telephone.
Ramji asked Delhal not to use dirty language like his home adjacent to the store and there were women in it.
It made Delhal angry who left the place just to return a few minutes later with four unknown men.
They began to struggle Ronta Ramji who rushed home to save himself.
His two daughters were out of their room and locked the iron gate to prevent the defendant from entering the house.
But, Dhandhal armed with a gun opened fire on the iron gate that hurt Bharti and Jagu, police said.
“After shooting, Dhandhal and the others entered the house and struggled Ramji with a pipe.
Hearing the shots of the neighbors rushed to Ramji’s house.
Seeing the neighbors, the defendant escaped from the place,” the police said.
