Rajkot: A 23-year-old pregnant woman from Rajkot was stabbed to death and his body was abandoned in a forest area near Bhavnath Taleti in Junagadh which was suspected by his partner for four years.
The police on Saturday arrested Mansukh alias Tino Jadav (32) for the murder of his partner Urmila Soarki, suspected him having an affair.
Urmila’s body was found in the forest area on Friday night.
Deputy Junagadh Police Inspector Pradeepsinh Jadeja told TII, “The woman’s body was dragged by about 10 feet.
His left hand was lost, may be eaten by wild animals.” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zona-1) in Rajkot Pravin Kumar said, “Allegedly Jadav that Urmila was having an affair.
They have a fight for this problem too.
In Bhavnath, Jadav rebuked Urmila for having an affair that had a heated argument.
Jadav stabbed Urmila about half a dozen Kali killed him in place.
“According to complaints submitted by Mrs.
Urmila Bhavna Solanki with the police station Bhavnath in Junagadh, Jadav wanted Urmila to stop her pregnancy, but she insisted on it.
The next complaint stated that Urmila was in relation to Jadav for the past 10 years.
But they began living together in Rajkot about four years ago.
Police said that Jadav became a bootleging and had been arrested in the past.
Bhavna stated in his complaint that Urmila came to live with him when he was 3-4 months pregnant.
On February 8, Jadav took Urmila by saying that they would go to Junagadh.
On February 8, Bhavna called Urmila several times but the cellphone was turned off.
Even Jadav mobile phones cannot be reached.
The next day, Urmila Kajal’s younger sister met Jadav at Rajkot’s civil hospital.
When he asked about Urmila, Jadav said that he would soon return home.
When Urmila did not return, Bhavna approached the Dam Aji Police Station in Rajkot.
The police traced Jadav, who was in the run, on Friday morning and took him to question.
During the interrogation, Jadav claimed to have killed Urmila and threw away in the forest near Bhavnath Taleti.
Rajkot police told their colleagues in Junagadh and reached the place by accusing Jadav to look for the body and verify identity.
According to the police, on February 8 Jadav brought Urmila to DU and from there they reached Junagadh.
Jadav took him to the Bhavnat forest under the pretext of offering prayers in a temple and allegedly killed him.
