Ghaziabad / Noida: Even though the center has released a set of guidelines to investigate pregnant women, Gautam Budh and Ghaziabad Regency has not implemented it.
Officials said they were waiting for direction from the state government to begin the process.
The source said it might need around mid-July for Noida and Ghaziabad to start vaccimizing pregnant women.
According to the Center for Center released on Thursday, pregnant women can take a vaccine.
“So far, we have not received orders to begin inoculating pregnant women.
We will open a slot for them as soon as we receive orders,” said Dr.
Neeraj Tyagi, District immunization officer, Gautam Budh Nagar.
He added that the district gets enough vaccine doses, special centers can be arranged to vaccinate pregnant women.
Two special female centers can also be used to investigate them, officials said.
Previously, on May 19, the center said that all nursing women could take Jab.
While Noida has invested breastfeeding women since then, officials at Ghaziabad said this vaccine was recommended for those who had children for six months, which did not depend on breastfeeding exclusively.
