Pregnant women, relatives hurt in an attack

Ludhiana: Two people, including a pregnant woman, was injured after their neighbors and “her legs” allegedly attacked their families at Rahon Road on Wednesday night.
The police claimed that they investigated the incident.
Harjit Singh from Gautam Colony at Rahon Road who worked as a crane operator alleged that when he parked his motorcycle, his neighbor along with 40 to 50 fists attacked him.
Harjit claimed that he ran inside his house and locked the door.
He alleged that the attackers pelted bricks at his home.
He told some of the leading residents in the following area where local police were told.
He claimed that after that the police reached the place and sent them to a civil hospital for medical examinations.
Harjit told police officials that when they went to the hospital, the attackers surrounded them and attacked them with sharp-eyed weapons.
He alleged that the attackers even shot them.
Harjit told the police that in the attack, his mother Daljit Kaur and Simran’s wife, who was six months pregnant, received a serious injury and had to be treated in a civil hospital.
He said he told the police about the overall problem.
Inspector Nardesh Singh, Sho, Tibba police station, said there had been accusations of shooting and they still verifyed the claim.
He added that two women suffered injuries and they were waiting for MLR (legal report Medico) after the necessary action would be taken.
